   In a Bull Market, Quick and Violent Sell-Offs Are Often Actually Bullish.
  
   The October Sell-Off was over in three days.  From top to bottom, this was unusually
    deep, a 15% decline.   It took nerves of steel to buy as quickly as the B17 and B19 Buys  
    suggested at the end of November.  But they were immediately profitable.  Such signals
    on severe weakness will test your levels of anxiety.  Buying Calls at these junctures
    may help.  They usualy are profitable and you know exactly how much you are risking
    right from the outset.  Here one would still have made money waiting for a confirmed
    breakout new high above the neckline to Buy.  Each trader must face his or her own
    psychological needs, respect them and trade accordingly.
